IHeartFaces - Dramatic Black&White

i♥Faces, I haven't entered in a while I think....... dramatic and black and white I couldn't resist. Cause look at these kids, I've never seen kids so into their conversation like them. Serious stuff was going on. They spend a weekend together and whenever I saw them together, they were into some sort of serious talk. It was very enjoyable.

Assignment 2 Photography Class - Self Portrait

More self portraits. This time I was to take photos of myself, the way I think other see me. Of course I already took one photo for this category but I thought it would be good to challenge myself. Thinking it would be great to take that literally, so photos through a window. Me at home, taking in account what people always say of me. Some one who enjoys the huge trees in her yard, looking and listening to the birds while making her all American Starbucks Coffee. When people think of me, they automatically think of coffee filled travel mugs. And some one who loves music.

Assignment 1 Photography Class - Night Photography

I have class again today. The assignments were fun and challenging. I have been thinking about the assignments since last class yet I didn't come up with any photos. Why always last minute? I told myself I would do it differently this time picking things up rights after our last class, right when I am so excited. I started out well, the first week I was working on assignment one. But I was a bit at a loss.

I was to make night shots of my street, showing it's character, and how I feel about my street a night (scared, proud, peaceful?) The assignment turned out great fun cause I had never really made night shots like this. I learned a lot playing with speed, sometimes for 30 seconds. It's amazing how photos taking in the dark can actually come out as if it were day time.

The feeling? My street is a beauty at night, not scary at all. Because I live away from the city stars can be amazing. There are beautiful trees. A beautiful windmill. And the street lights do provide safety and great atmosphere.

Especially with these photos I can't believe they are taken after sunset, but they truly are.

These are 'just' tulips in a vase. I wanted to treat myself and of course now that spring is here tulips are a great treat. It makes spring time glorious and bright. Can you believe these are just in a vase, sitting on my coffee table?

I had this shoot in January. Not a photo shoot, it was a shoot for a TV program. During an interview we had to keep this little one quiet. I decided to take her out for a bit and it was my chance to take a few shots of her! I hope her mom isn't on my blog because it's supposed to be a surprise for her. I will print some out as a gift. This girl was too cute to be true, such a doll! And how we loved one another's company.
