This week it was finally time to meet Miracle baby Kyren. Born at just 24 weeks, 4 months early!! He is doing remarkably well. After all he's gone through, he is a happy baby.

Teacher Jesus

For another program I had a shoot at The Passion Play. It's a play at an open air theater and it tells the story of Jesus. It's quite remarkable. I will be back for sure to watch the entire 3 hour play.

We followed the actor who in daily life is an 8th grade teacher, this season playing the roll of Jesus. So we called him Teacher Jesus.

Art Studio

You know how I've had very little use of my camera the past months. When I had a TV shoot though I did have to bring my camera along to take photos of our guest. This was a TV shoot in an art studio.

Back?

I am hoping that I can say I am back. I needed time off after my accident, among some other reasons. The only thing left from my car accident is the whiplash, the being tired part. After a morning worth of work I'd sleep for hours and hours. I had to cancel quit a bit of work.

Right now I am vacationing in the US (got here yesterday) so I am one happy camper. It will be GREAT to see all my friends again. People said it was quit scary to travel with a whiplash but it went really well.

Before I left I was given a wonderful bouquet of pink flowers by a new found friend. I couldn't enjoy them for very long so I decided to take some photos! It's a celebration of life!

And now..... now let's hope I am really back!

No photos

Due to my car accident, I haven't touch my camera in weeks. There's nothing I can do about this, but I have to say, the last couple of days I am feeling close to picking her up again. I've missed her, and realizing the desire is coming back is a good sign.

Some one reminded me of this saying this week, it's beautiful. Mandela used it in his inauguration speech and I though it would be nice to share wise words now that I can't share photos.

Skywatch Friday

Skywatch Friday will be an iPhone photo this time. I've been in a car accident and thus not been out and about. I had dinner at my neighbors tonight (they're good at taking care of me) when I noticed the awesome blue sky. I couldn't resist taking a photo, even if it's just with my iPhone. It's better than nothing. I'll be back before I know it, I hope.

I can't sit long behind the screen so I haven't checked out the entries yet, but I am sure you'll enjoy it.

Nan

Although today is a National Holiday for us, I did have class. And I enjoyed it. We were given an assignment during class today. We each had 10 to 15 minutes to take a group photo. Of course I couldn't resist taking photos when it wasn't my turn. I was taking photos of Nan when she was busy positioning every one. Quite the fun! They are all SOOC.

One item - Tens ways

I had to photograph one item in ten different ways. An item that interests you, an item that fascinates you. I love this cross, it's showed off in my living room, a perfect item to walk around with for this assignment for class. You might recognize the item from my very first photo taken for class when I started at the Photo Academy.

I had to come up with ten different photos by using light, being creative with Photoshop, playing with depth of field and so forth.

A great series for Pentacost, which we celebrate this weekend, and in Holland it's also celebrated today.
