Amish Washer

Monday, Wednesday and Friday are the set washing days for the Amish.  Whenever I visit my friends I am always surprised to see the laundry hanging outside, even in the winter in the freezing cold.  That it even dries?!

And I admire my Amish friends who still do laundry by hand.  The washer gets pulled out of the closet and then some what hours are spend washing.

Surprise Baby Shower

What a fun day.  I threw my dear friend Melissa a surprise baby shower.  After two boys she is having her girl. Blessed by all the girls who came to celebrate.

For work I was driving through the Amish countryside.  Always a joy.

Dutch Tradition

Being with family early in December makes it fun to keep traditions going.  Setting our shoe because Saint Nicholas is in town!

Anniversary Get Away

We spend our 'engaversary' weekend in Cape May.  Tim had sought out a real cool place, Congress Hall.  We spend much time on the bike, just like a Dutchy would.  One would expect rather romantic photos for a anniversary get away, this is what I come up with...
