Monkey Town
I took my nephews to what I call Monkey Town. It's a place where all sorts of monkeys and gorilla's live. And lots of locations in the park the monkeys walk right where we visitors walk, thus them trying to get into our bags in search of food, or stealing jewelry. A few years ago we were able to feed them but that's no longer happening cause only the dominant monkeys would get fed that way. It was a great day in great weather... here a few of the monkeys we got to watch...

New location
It's about time I share a photo of my new location. It's time I share lots of photos really. But there is just this one.
I moved at the end of February and being in spring season and all it is quite an enjoyment. How blessed I am to have moved and to have moved to such a great home at an unique location. I will make a point to make a series about my new area, I am sure you'll enjoy that. Lots of country side, windmills, tulips and such.
This photo is taken from my dock... you see the town's church and the modern windmills, going full force this foggy morning. An amazing view I have.

'Photoless' update
I have been part of the blogging world for 3 plus years now and even though I write on my personal blog quite frequently, it saddens me I have not been here since August, in all those years that hasn't happened. So without photos here's an update.
Unfortunately I am still suffering from the car accident. I have a whiplash and it puts me out quite frequently. That is why I was pretty strict with myself, no carrying my camera and little private time behind the computer. I try not to think about photography all that much but at the same time I can't wait to pick my passion back up again. I am ready for a new season, a new start even. The road has been rough. But the new season is here.
A much needed new season is here. I will be moving soon and it is SO good for me. I am so blessed to have been able to buy a home. It's just what I long for. It is so hard to say good bye to my current home, and for most the scenery I have been able to share with you in photos right here on this blog. But sometimes you have to let old things go and be wise and not just go by feelings, sometimes you just need to move. And I am! And now that it is getting closer and closer I am getting more and more excited and I am cheering for this new season. It truly is God's grace I have been able to buy, and not just an average home, no a home that suits me so well. It's free standing (not very Dutch like), it's on the water and I still have the cows, sheep and fields as my view.
I can't wait to start sharing my new scenery with you. I am not making any promises, I am not at liberty to promise anything, my body will tell. But secretly I am thinking about the Photography Academy which I had to cancel in 2010, maybe, just maybe I can pick it back up again September 2011...
A special thank you to Cathy and Tasha because even though I was not here, you were and I appreciate you letting me know that through your comments. How sweet and how stimulating that was!!
